Making Handwoven Silk (Banarasi), Hand Appliquéd

The piece is all about the sense of belonging and connection we feel with each other during the festivities of the season. Our aim is to preserve those feelings for you, to bring you endless happiness in the times to come.

The artisan has crafted this piece with immense joy in his heart, and he wants to share that beautiful feeling with you. It is a humble endeavor to showcase the glory of Indian handicrafts in a different light. Rabari embroidery and wool applique work has been used to craft ornamental trees. Tiny mirrors and beads sprinkle their magic on the mindfully woven fabric, resplendent with a quiet charm. The wrap has been backed with fine silk for comfort and warmth. Add a delightful touch of timelessness to your every day with this wool-silk wrap around your shoulders.

Best advice is to Dry Clean Only. For best results to your delicate wools, it is highly recommended that you only dry clean. For a long life for all pure silk products, dry cleaning is recommended. For colors to not fade in all cotton products, gentle hand washing is recommended.
